LOCATION
Crownhill Fort is a preserved Victorian fort on the outskirts of Plymouth covering a total of 16 acres. It is now one of only two large works of this kind in the country to remain in good condition. Most people hardly notice Crownhill Fort as they go past, it is so well hidden from the outside world, and that was exactly the intention when it was built in the 1872.
